    Comfortable way to experience TdP

We spent 3 nights in mid-April...and during our stay were able to experience all 4 seasons. Great location. Great staff. Daily excursions fantastic...able to choose based on desired level of effort. I did all day hikes, while my wife chose shorter ones. Fantastic horseback riding opportunities. Personable guides with small groups. All-inclusive food and drinks...very good! Round trip transfers included, appreciated due to remote location. Nice lake/riverside spa.... a bit of a walk from hotel. Outdoor hot tubs on the water much appreciated after those long hikes. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Fantastic views everywhere. Definitely not roughing it here! I would highly recommend for active people looking for a comfortable way to experience TdP up close, and for those looking to meet like-minded travelers from around the world.

Special doesn’t begin to do it justice

We stayed for 4 nights at the Explora, as the highlight of a planned 3 week trip to Chile and Argentina, and what a highlight it was. From the moment you are greeted by Gabriel, the manager, it is clear this is a top quality experience. Food was excellent, service amazing and the views worthy of any bucket list. Three days trekking was tough, but incredible and the weather was more than kind to us. This is a once in a lifetime experience, well done Gabriel and team for making this incredibly special.

Fantastic place to stay in the Sacred Valley Peru!

This is the second Explora property at which I have stayed (Easter Island being the other). It was phenomenal! Beautiful architecture, excellent service, eco-friendly, great food and terrific, customized daily half-day or full-day expeditions. We were a family group of 8 but also saw couples and other family groups there. Just a delight. The staff was super accommodating to all levels of activity. I HIGHLY recommend you spend a few nights here!

    Machu Picchu and Beyond

Explora is an understated 5-star property. It has the feel of a modern mountain lodge. Everything is included; the food is wonderful, the linens are lovely, the bar is top-notch, the guides are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and there are many different excursions from which to choose. I highly recommend Explora and we are considering staying at another Explora property.

    Desert Magic

We arrived at Explora Atacama with great ambition and high expectations, as we had previously visited Explora Patagonia and found it to be a transformative hospitality experience. We were so pleased that our expectations were met and exceeded. The warm welcome we received from Maureen, the gracious and charming manager, after a long (and snowy!) journey across the Andes, set the tone for the entire visit. The Explora Team - from the guides, to the waiters, to the hospitality staff - are warm, engaging, and genuine. The Explorations are varied and fascinating, and the guides move deftly and expertly from geology to flora to fauna to history, depending on your interest. The guest orientation, which was something new for us, was fabulous, and one of our favorite parts of each day was the planning session in the Guide Room for tomorrow's excursions. Stargazing is a real treat. The food is healthy and well prepared, and the bar - THE BAR!! - is a spirited place to gather at the end of an eventful day, with the friendliest bartenders on the planet. It is truly unfair to single out any particular member of the extraordinary Explora team, but we are especially grateful to our Spirit Guide, Cecelia, who capably led us through a high-mountain ascent that truly pushed our boundaries.

I don't think we've ever felt better cared for.

    Perfection!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful the lodge, staff and guides were. The atmosphere is relaxing, seemingly simple but actually sophiticated luxury. Meals were excellent, amenities all top notch. But above all, the excursions made this an amazing experience; how we were advised on what to do to adjust to the altitude for hiking, the variety of hikes offered, the quality of the guides we went out with-all made for an especially memorable visit to the area.

    Spectacular Stay

Three nights in mid-March. All was superb, especially the food (fresh, varied, luxurious, delicious) and the guides (very knowledgeable and enthusiastic). Service top notch in restaurant, bar, rooms, drivers, everywhere. Room was spacious and comfortable. Infinity edge pool and spa were the real sleepers, very well done and a pleasant change after hiking. Yes, it’s expensive, but well worth it.

    Exceeded our expectations!

We stayed at Explora Rapa Nui for 5 days/4 nights. It is a wonderful place to stay and to explore this wonderful island of Rapa Nui and to get to know its people. The lodge itself is wonderful, comfortable rooms, quiet location, excellent dining, friendly and efficient staff. It is well run, the meals, drinks and excursions are all included. The superstars are the guides. They make your stay memorable by sharing their culture and history. I absolutely recommend Explora Rapa Nui.
